3 October 1934 – Byron hanged

Yep, you read right. Byron was indeed strung up on this day in 1934, but the date will tell you it was nothing to do with the English poet.

No, we’re talking about an American by the name of Miller Byron. He was a 42-year-old farm-hand-cum-murderer who was hanged in Washington for his crime.

Is this a case of poetic justice?
