Herman Dale Ashworth was executed for beating Daniel Baker to death.

According to the coroner’s office, 40-year-old Baker looked like he’d been in a road or airplane accident. Why? Apparently Baker had tried it on with him after they’d been drinking in a bar.

Ashworth had freaked and beaten him to a pulp by kicking him and using his fists plus a board.
Ashworth’s then girlfriend helped send him down by testifying against him that he’d admitted the crime. The 32-year-old was injected with lethal drugs in Ohio. His final words were: ‘a life for a life, let it be done and justice will be served’.
