6 June 1928 – Frederick Stewart

Armed robber Frederick Stewart swung for it today in 1928, having been found guilty of murder.

The 28-year-old was hanged at Pentonville after he broke into a flat and shot occupant Alfred Charles Bertram Webb during a botched robbery.
