25 April 1951 – Edward Smith and Joseph Brown

A double execution took place today in 1951, and the venue was Wandsworth.

Two 33-year-olds by the names of Edward Smith and Joseph Brown were hanged for the murder. The two of them had hatched the plan to bump off a man called Frederick Gosling. And for that they were caught and condemned to death.
